Update - End-Of-Year

Well 2011 is so close upon us now, and things are wrapping up here in the nursery. I have two boys available for adoption, and I am still busy working on my craft fair/show schedule for next year. Update

Seems like my updates are beginning to be monthly? lol.

Here's what's new:

• I'm tired of the webpage look and I am trying to find a webset that reflects what I like before I go investing in a custom set.
• Crystal Ann went home this week. (Custom Alina) Her new mommy was thrilled!
• I have several new babies in the works, but no pictures yet!

Update

Wow I haven't blogged in a whole month?! I have been terribly busy lately, and have not had time to do a blog entry. I am working on a custom Alina and the hair is taking up most of my time. I have the front hairline filled in, and I am starting twork on the side hairline and filling it in. I will post rooting pics when I get some more work done the left side of her head!

The Coppell Farmer's Market was fun. Lots of fresh produce and honey and cookies! Yum! None of my babies got new homes): But I have some more events I am looking into! Christmas is coming in 4 months and people are starting their shopping early. I have some ideas for baby products to add that I feel will sell pretty well.

I have a new kit in the works. This one is a caucasian baby (haven't made one since i started 2 years ago!). It is Connor by Heather Boneham. I gotta say, on the web, he looks UGLY. But in person, he is just adorable(: and so tiny! Connor will have blonde hair eventually. But the base layers are all done!

Update -

I finally got more work done on Gavyn - well, Rose. I keep seeing girl in him right now! I filled in his bald spots (from those late night rooting sessions) and I got his entire hairline done all the way around! I feel almost done, sort of, when I get to this point! I will post pictures as soon as I can.

I just purchased some beautiful mohair from Carolyn~sugargliderus and I am waiting for it to arrive. It is black, because for some odd reason, I decided this baby should have black hair for a change. I ALWAYS use dark brown! I am looking at some new kits to do after Gavyn is completed, and I have 4 Custom Baby slots open at this time. UPDATE

It's been awhile since I last updated! I am trying not to neglect my poor blog but I have been so busy lately. I have been working on a new kit I just got. He is Gavyn by Ana Healey-Turner. He has all his paint layers done. His nails and lips need to be varnished and he needs hair. I will getting his hair from Carolyn~sugargliderus. I have seen a sample of this up close from a reborning friend next to some Slumberland it is much shinier! (Is that word? lol) I will try to get some outside pictures of Gavyn so you can see him better, but for now, a picture I took in my room in the evening.

New Babies Coming Soon!

I will be ordering TWO new kits soon. That's right, TWO. They are at a really good price point right now and I want to get them while I can. I am going to try a new method with those two, and I will post periodically about it. First post will of course be when I have the kits in my possession and I am taking my Before pics!
